Junior/Mid-weight Graphic Designer – Odiham office, Hampshire

Location: Office location (Odiham office)
Position: Permanent

We are looking for a local experienced graphic designer to join our busy studio. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of design work taking each job from brief to completion.

It is essential that you are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. An eye for detail is imperative. We are looking for a designer to fit in with our small studio team and to help further develop our excellent creative design capabilities.

Skills & Experience

  • At least two years experience in either a design studio or as an in-house designer
  • Excellent mac skills
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Organised and able to work on multiple projects
  • Meticulous attention to detail, striving for perfection in everything you do (very important)
  • Experience of face-to-face client interaction
  • Good understanding of brands and how to work within brand guidelines
  • Display the ability to listen and learn from others as well as offering your own opinion
  • Knowledge of design for the web would be very advantageous

Salary

17–21k (subject to experience)


 

Web Designer/Developer – Odiham office, Hampshire

Location: Office location (Odiham office)
Position: Permanent

We are seeking a local, talented Web Designer/ Developer to join our growing digital department here at rhc.

Skills & Experience

  • Very strong knowledge of current web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery & PHP
  • A good working knowledge of the WordPress Codex
  • Experience building responsive mobile friendly sites
  • Proficiency with web standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (beneficial)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • To innovate with new ideas within the company
  • Logical and thorough approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail, striving for perfection in everything you do
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
  • A strong familiarity with Adobe products such as Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Any knowledge of the print industry and working with Indesign would be beneficial

Duties include:

  • Working closely with the designers and other team members in order to develop complex, interactive and database driven web sites
  • Fully responsible for development and ongoing maintenance of websites and web applications
  • Ongoing development of the company website
  • Advise the creative team on latest technologies and industry practises

Salary

18–24k (subject to experience)
