L&Q Housing
project details
L&Q London Housing Association wanted help marketing “Discovery on the Thames” - a prestigious part buy, part rent development of one, two and three bedroom contemporary apartments alongside the historic Old Royal Navel College on the Thames at Greenwich.
Following over a thousand enquiries, generated through media advertising and Agent promotion, rhc were briefed to design, write and produce ‘something special’ to appeal to young first time buyers looking to enjoy affordable, yet modern urban living on the Thames.
However with 17 different types of accommodation on four floors in two different buildings, it was essential to include comprehensive floor plans within the sales brochure. As there wasn’t the budget to produce a brochures for each building on the development, the solution was a 6pp gate fold outer cover designed to hold 4 pages of generic text stitched into the first fold. With the option to stitch 8 or 12 pages of specific text with colour coded floor plans (unique to one of the developments) into the second fold.
client feedback
“rhc created a relevant and fresh brand identity then followed the theme successfully through onto the brochure. The bigger challenge was showing all the different floor plan options! We certainly didn’t want loose inserts of floor plans falling out of a brochure pocket, so we’re really pleased with the stitched in solution. Tidy and cost effective”.
