After 150 years Sanderson’s Throat Specific Mixture gets a shot in the arm via new ownership and a brand refresh. Having acquired Sanderson’s, Infohealth Pharmaceuticals appointed rhc to re-brand and re-launch it into the market. It’s the same trusted product, offering well-proven relief to sore throats, loss of voice, catarrh and hoarseness.

Originating from the mid to late 1800’s Sanderson’s Throat Specific Mixture was developed by a theatrical and dispensing chemist called Mr Sanderson. He operated his practice next to the theatres in Manchester and his formula was well renowned in theatrical and vocal circles.

150 years later it still has a loyal following of customers who swear by it. Even Placido Domingo is reputed to have used it as a gargle. In fact it is so popular with performers that the pharmacy next to London’s Royal Opera House ensures it is always in stock.
